The Dominican University men's tennis team improved to 3-6 on the season and 2-2 in the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) with a 9-0 victory over the Aurora University Spartans on Tuesday afternoon.
Gregory Tabaka (Chicago, Ill.) and
Marco Colapietro (Norridge, Ill.) both improved to 4-5 in singles play, with Tabaka picking up his third win in conference play at number two sinlges for the Stars. Colapietro, the Stars' number four singles competitor, topped the Spartans' John Dudley 6-0, 6-4 and teamed with
Matt Sarantopoulos (Mt. Prospect, Ill.) at number two doubles to top Dudley and Clay Trautman.
The Stars return to NAC action on Saturday, hosting Concordia University Wisconsin and Lakeland College for dual matches at Oak Park-River Forest High School.
