Box Score An eight-run fifth inning doomed the Dominican University baseball team as the North Park University Vikings got the best of the Stars, 14-2, on Tuesday afternoon.

After RBI singles by Richie Green (Chicago, Ill.) and Lenny Cunzalo (Chicago, Ill.) pulled the Stars within a run of the Vikings, 3-2 heading into the bottom of the fifth, the Vikings pushed across eight runs on six hits and two Dominican University errors in the bottom half of the inning to put the game out of reach for the Stars.

Dominican will return to the diamond on Saturday, hosting the Millikin University Big Blue for a 12:30 PM doubleheader at Schaumburg Baseball Stadium.
