Box Score The Dominican University Stars baseball team was knocked off by the North Park Vikings, 8-1, on Tuesday evening in a matchup on the Northside.

Timely hitting was the issue for the Stars as they tied the Vikings with ten hits apiece but Dominican left 12 men on base compared to seven left on the base paths by the Vikings.

Adam Quinn (Libertyville, Ill.) was the offensive leader for the Stars, going 3-for-4 with a pair of hard-hit doubles for the game.

The Stars scored their lone run of the ballgame on a wild pitch with the bases loaded in the sixth inning.

The Stars had at least one man on base in each of the nine innings, putting a runner in scoring position in seven innings.

Quinlan Milne Rojek (Minneapolis, Minn.) was tagged with the loss for Dominican. Milne Rojek gave up four runs, only one earned, on six hits and two walks while punching out three. Milne Rojek's record is now 0-1 for the season.

Wesley Mleziva was credited the win for Vikings. Mlezvia gave up just one run on six hits and two walks while striking out seven.
