Box Score 2 The Dominican University baseball team swept a doubleheader from the Maranatha Baptist Bible College Crusaders at Schaumburg Boomers Stadium on Friday afternoon, taking game one 20-0 in seven innings and game two 13-5.
Quinlan Milne Rojek (Minneapolis, Minn.) picked up the win in game one, scattering three hits over six innings while punching out six hitters.  With the victory, Milne Rojek climbs back to .500 on the hill at 3-3 for the Stars with a team-best 3.86 earned run average.
Milne Rojek helped himself, going 3-for-4 at the plate with five runs batted in, a double, a stolen base and a walk.
In game two, 
Robert Bavone (Bellwood, Ill.) got his second win of his freshman season on the bump for the Stars.  Bavone gave up four runs, none earned, on nine hits and one walk while striking out two.  
Ryan Hoff (Marengo, Ill.), 
Chance Emlund (Chicago, Ill.) and 
Josh Venhuizen (Evergreen Park, Ill.) each worked in relief for Bavone after the fifth to keep the lead.
Overall, the Stars were led on the bases by the wheels of 
Joe Krasny (Berwyn, Ill.).  Krasny stole three bags on the day. Krasny was also a stunning 4-for-6 at the dish with a bases clearing double.  Krasny’s big day at the yard pushed his team-leading batting average to .312 and conference-best stolen base count to 25.
The Stars rapped out 26 hits on the day.  
Lucas McKinney (Arvada, Colo.) had a hard hit triple, a single and 2 RBI for the day. McKinney leads the team with a .401 on-base percentage.
The sweep of the Crusaders pushes the Stars to a 12-23 overall record and a 7-11 Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) record.  The Stars are back in action tomorrow as they travel to their last NAC away doubleheader.  The Stars will take on the Concordia Wisconsin Falcons in Mequon, Wis.  First pitch is in the book for noon.  Check out the baseball page for the media coverage links for tomorrow’s ballgame.
