Box Score The Dominican University Stars were defeated on the road against the University of Chicago Maroons 13-0 on Tuesday afternoon.

The Stars managed just six hits on the day while committing two errors defensively.

Robert Bavone (Bellwood, Ill.) was tagged with the loss. Bavone lasted two-plus innings, giving up seven runs, five earned, on eight hits and one walk. Bavone's record is now 1-2 for the year.

The Stars return to Northern Athletics Conference action on Saturday as they take on the Cougars of Concordia Chicago. The Stars will be traveling down Division Street for a doubleheader commencing at noon.
