Box Score The Dominican University men's volleyball team traveled to Kenosha, Wis., Wednesday night to take on the ninth-ranked Red Men of Carthage College with the Stars falling in three sets (25-17, 25-18, 25-17) to fall to 0-2 in the Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC).
Jeremy Royko (Naperville, Ill.) led the Stars with nine kills on 17 swings, committing four errors for a .294 attack percentage.
Alex Coyne (Naperville, Ill.) dished out 28 assists for Dominican while
Brooks Nevrly (Downers Grove, Ill.) collected a team-high 11 digs.
As a team, the Stars posted a .179 attack percentage while the Red Men hit .427 on the match with 43 kills on 82 swings with just eight errors.
The Stars, now 5-6 on the season, travel to New York for their next five matches, starting with a meeting with Bard College on Saturday.
