Cody Schuster (Las Vegas, Nev.) picked up four hits, including a walk-off single in game one, to extend his hitting streak to 13 games as the Stars split with the visiting MSOE Raiders on Saturday afternoon at Schaumburg Boomers Stadium.

Lucas McKinney (Arvada, Colo.) pulled the Stars to within one on a sacrifice fly.
Two innings later, Schuster scored the tying run on McKinney's second sacrifice fly of the game, sending the game to the ninth tied 4-4.
After McCaffery pitched around a leadoff single in the top of the ninth, Krasny started a two-out rally for the Stars as he singled up the middle. After Krasny swiped second to put himself in scoring position, Schuster hit a bouncing ball through the left side of the infield and Krasny was able to slide in to score the winning run.
Krasny, Schuster and Lyons, the Stars' three-four-five hitters, went a combined 8-for-14 at the plate. Krasny had a double and scored twice while Lyons and Schuster had an RBI each.
McCaffery moves to 3-2 on the year, surrendering four runs, none earned, on seven hits and one walk while striking out eight.
Josh Kudinger took the loss for the Raiders, allowing two runs over 1.2 innings of work out of the MSOE bullpen.
Game Two: MSOE 6, Dominican 3
In game two, McKinney drove in all three Dominican runs, hitting sacrifice flies in the fourth and sixth innings and pushing across a run on a fielder's choice in the bottom of the eighth.
Schuster extended his season-best hitting streak to 13 with a single up the middle in the bottom of the eighth but flew out to right in his final at-bat to end the game.
Ryan Kukla (Chicago, Ill.) was tagged with the loss, giving up six runs, four earned, on eight hits and three walks over 6.1 innings while striking out five.
Adam Vlaj picked up the win for MSOE while David Miklosi picked up the save, pitching around a two-out single by Krasny in the ninth.
The loss snaps a four-game winning streak for the Stars who stand at 11-8 on the season, 3-3 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. The Stars are scheduled to travel to Sheboygan, Wis., to take on the Lakeland College Muskies on Sunday.
