The Dominican University men's tennis team saw their season come to an end on Tuesday evening in the quarterfinal round of the 2016 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Tournament, falling to the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors, 5-1.
 
Frank Lally (Park Ridge, Ill.) scored the lone victory for the Stars, winning the number four singles flight over the Warriors' Cedric Guichard in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.
 
Dominican trailed 3-0 after three tightly contested doubles flights.  The Stars' doubles teams of John Mysz (La Grange, Ill.) and Camden Knights (Addison, Ill.) and Lally and Chandler Allen (Sterling, Ill.) forced tie-breakers at numbers one and three doubles respectively.  Allen and Lally were edged by the Warriors' doubles team of Paul Fitzgerald and Ryan Eastman 9-8 while Knights and Mysz were topped 9-7 by Zach Birner and Derek Sallman.
 
Sallmann and Birner then closed out the win with wins at the first and second singles flights respectively.
