The Dominican University baseball team is set to open the 2018 season this weekend in Missouri.  Games originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday have been shifted to just a Sunday schedule with Dominican playing Fontbonne University at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Stars and University of Chicago Maroons at 1:00 p.m.  The games will now be played at Carshield Field, home of the River City Rascals, in O'Fallon, Missouri.

Dominican will look to replace the game with Millikin University, originally scheduled as the season opener on Saturday, February, 24, later in the season.

After the games on Sunday, Dominican will hit the road on Saturday, March 3, traveling down to Fort Pierce, Florida, where the Stars will compete in the Florida Coast Spring Training, playing eight games between Sunday, March 4, and Saturday, March 10.  The Stars then return to the Chicagoland area for a trio of games in Wheaton, Illinois, on March 23 and March 24 before opening Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play on Saturday, March 31, against Rockford at Dominican's home field, Schaumburg Boomers Stadium, in nearby Schaumburg, Illinois.
