Box Score The Dominican University men's tennis team dominated the Aurora University Spartans, 7-2, on Saturday afternoon in Forest Park, Illinois, to improve to .500 on the season and 3-2 in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play.

The stars ran the table through doubles play, picking up points in all three flights, 8-5, 8-3, 8-3. Â

"It was great to see the momentum carry over from Friday into today," commented Troy Tonsil, the Dominican University head men's tennis coach. "We did a great job of controlling the points in the double matches and found success for the second straight day."

The Stars were led by the four seniors on the roster:
John Mysz,
Camden Knights,
Tarik Abdullah, and
Frank Lally. All four seniors won in straight sets, putting the Stars in 3
rd place in the NACC Standings.

"The seniors did a great job of setting the tone early in the single matches, and led the way throughout the rest of the day in spectacular fashion. Next week is huge for us, and having a streak going into the home stretch puts us in a good position to have a strong finish in conference play."

The Stars return to play, Thursday, April 26, against the Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors in a rescheduled match at the Forest Park Tennis Courts.
