The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) released the first players of the week for baseball on Tuesday morning, naming Dominican University junior Frankie Sessa the league's Position Player of the Week for baseball.
 
Sessa has gotten off to a hot start to the 2019, leading the NACC in batting average and on-base percentage.  The Stars' first baseman has reached base safely in each of Dominican's first six games of the season, including going 5-for-6 with a walk in Dominican's doubleheader split with Monmouth College on Sunday to kick of the Stars' spring trip to Fort Pierce, Florida.  On the year, Sessa is batting .533 with eight hits in 15 at-bats with three RBIs, four walks and one hit-by-pitch.
 
Sessa and the Stars return to action on Tuesday, taking on the Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen in game two of a two-game series.  First pitch is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. ET in Fort Pierce.
