Pituch and Dominguez Earn Weekly Honors

Milwaukee, WI – Dominican University men's soccer players Adrian Pituch and Daniel Dominguez were named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Student-Athletes of the Week by the conference office on Wednesday morning.

The freshman Pituch was named the South Division Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week after a two-goal performance at Aurora on Wednesday 3/24. The Justice, Illinois native scored in the 76th minute to give his team a 1-0 lead before netting the game-winner in overtime with a 97th-minute tally.

Dominguez earned two wins in goal for the Stars last week on his way to being named the South Division Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week. The junior recorded nine saves in the overtime win over Aurora on Wednesday before making three saves against Concordia Chicago on Sunday to earn a clean sheet. The Elgin, Illinois native made 12 saves on 13 shots last week for a .923 save percentage.

Dominican returns to the pitch at West Campus Field this afternoon for a reserve match versus Concordia Wisconsin at 4:00 p.m.
