RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's Ashley Ishman and Vicente Castro were both named Student-Athletes of the Week by the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC), as announced on Tuesday morning. 
 
Ishman was excellent in net for the women's soccer program this weekend, posting her first shutout of the season in a 0-0 draw with Wartburg. The Naperville, Ill.-native made a combined 16 saves in two matches over the weekend as the Stars tied with UW-La Crosse and Wartburg, two strong non-conference programs. Through three games this season, Ishman has totaled 20 saves, a .909 save percentage with just a 0.58 goals against average. 
 
Castro found the scoresheet for the first and second times this weekend, propelling the DU attack as the Stars downed Lake Forest on back-to-back days. The junior midfielder racked up eight points, posting one goal and two assists in each match. He now has recorded at least one point in 3-of-4 matches for Dominican.
