River Forest, Ill. – Dominican University Athletics continued its tradition of sponsoring local families in need through DU's annual Thanksgiving baskets program, which provides Thanksgiving items for their holiday celebrations.

Dominican partnered with the Office for Civic Learning to sponsor baskets for 89 families in the St. Joseph's Family Services network. The athletic department sponsored 13 baskets including gift cards, vegetables, potatoes, cranberries, stuffing, desserts, rice, beans, gravy, soup, bread, candy, napkins, and hand sanitizer to families in need.

Dominican University's Thanksgiving baskets program has been ongoing for over a decade with the Athletic Department sponsoring at least 13 families per year for the last eight years.
