How it Happened:
-Dominican dominated the first set winning 25-12. The Stars 12 had 12 kills on 21 attacking attempts. DU only had 1 error in the set. 
-Senior Jarod Hesse took charge for DU in the first set with 5 kills. 
-The Stars continued to roll in the second winning 25-13 on 12 kills. 
-DU would start the set on a 6-0 run with Junior Owen Morrow serving. 
-Freshman Ty Geshke would have back to back service aces in the set. 
-Dominican would shut the door in the third set winning 25-21 with 13 kills and 6 errors. 
-Junior Aaron Marrs had 3 kills in the third set for the Stars. 

Shining Stars:
-Senior Jarod Hesse led the Stars with 11 kills on 17 attacking attempts. Hesse also had 2 service aces and 6 digs. 
-Junior Casey Goss had 7 kills and 7 digs.   
-Junior Owen Morrow had 29 assists along with 2 digs. 
-Junior Aaron Marrs had 7 kills to go along with a service ace and 3 digs. 
-Junior Jason Kougan led DU with 4 blocks.

What's Next: 
The Dominican University men's volleyball team will be back in action March 6th when the Stars take their 5 game win streak to Illinois Tech to face off against the Scarlet Hawks. The match will begin at 7:00 p.m.
