Meghan Wilhite of the Dominican University women's soccer team was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Soccer Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 26
th.
Wilhite, a Junior Forward from Las Vegas, Nevada, played in both matches this past week, one where she came off the bench and one in the starting eleven. In the first match, she played 27 minutes, recording an assist in the 5-1 victory at Benedictine University. The next match was on the road at Wisconsin Lutheran, where the Junior found herself in the starting eleven and played 71 minutes in the match. Wilhite pushed the Stars to a 4-1 victory with her first career collegiate hat trick, scoring two goals in the first half and gathering the hatty in the second half. Meghan fired 4 shots in the match. Wilhite's brilliant match clinched the Stars the 4
th seed in the NACC tournament. The Junior played apart in both matches this week, helping DUWSOC to a 2-0 week, with 3 goals, an assist, 4 shots, and her first career hat trick.
Wilhite and the Dominican University Women's Soccer team will be back in action riding a three-match win streak on Wednesday afternoon. The Stars will travel down Division Street to play their rivals at Concordia University of Chicago at 2:00 p.m.
