Kenosha, Wis. – Dominican University Track & Field completed the indoor portion of their 2025 season at the NACC Indoor Track and Field Championships over Friday and Saturday.
Results:
Women's T&F: 10th
Men's T&F: 11th
Shining Stars:
-Senior
Oscar Meza-Quintero participated in the Men's 400m and finished with a new personal best of 59.20.
-Junior
Adrian Ocana ran in the 800m and posted a time of 2:08.47, claiming 14
th place.
-In the Men's 4x400m, the team of Meza-Quintero, Ocana, Sophomore
Jose Murillo, and Freshman
Jamie Favela posted a time of 3:56.53.
-Murillo registered a time of 24.98 in the Men's 200m.
-In the Men's 3000m run, Favela completed the race in 9:28.23.
-Freshman
Alexandra Jimenez posted a time of 1:22.49 followed by Freshman
Lizabeth Vallejo at 1:25.70 in the Women's 400m.
-Sophomore
Fatima Duran competed in the Women's 800m and posted 2:58.23.
-Freshman
Mary Bitter finished with a time of 14:36.57 in the Women's 3000m.
-In Women's Shot Put, Senior
Avery Brown had a throw of 9.63m.
-Dominican raced in the women 4x400 meter relay. The team consisted of Jimenez, Vallejo, Duran, and Freshman
Melanie Galarza and finished with a time of 5:29.08.

Dominican Track and Field will be back in action in Naperville, Ill on Friday, March 28
th through Saturday, March 29
th for the North Central 1
