Elmhurst, Ill. – The Dominican University Track & Field team continued its outdoor slate at the Outdoor Chicagoland Championships on Thursday through Saturday, hosted by Elmhurst University.

Shining Stars:
-Sophomore
John Delfin led DU in the Men's 100-meter with a time of 12.28.
-Junior
Samuel Malke recorded a time of 2:04.49 in the Men's 800-meter.
-In the Men's 1500-meter, Freshman
Alberto Diaz ran a time of 4:32.76.
-Sophomore
Aaron Guadarrama had a best throw of 8.60m in Men's Shot Put.
-Freshman Alany Reynoso paced the Stars in the Women's 100-meter with a time of 17.29.
-Reynoso also posted a 37.29 split in the Women's 200-meter.
-Sophomore
Mary Bitter recorded a 3:02.61 in the Women's 800-meter.
-Senior
Kaylanah Strange Owl had a best throw of 5.89m in Women's Shot Put.

Dominican Track and Field will compete in the Don Church Twilight Meet, hosted by Wheaton College, on Saturday, April 18
th.
