Chicago, Ill. – The Dominican University Track & Field team got back in action on February 21
st, in the Margaret Brady Invite hosted by University of Chicago.

Shining Stars:
-Sophomore Jose Angel Murillo posted a time of 7.69 in the men's 60-meter dash.
-Sophomore
John Delfin finished with a time of 26.15 in the men's 200-meter dash.
-Junior
Samuel Malke earned a top 10 finish in the 800-meter dash completing the race with a time of 1:58.74.
-Freshman
Alberto Diaz earned a time of 4:55.93 in the mile.
-Sophomore
Aaron Guadarrama competed in the shot-put event and had a best throw 10.52 meters.
-Freshman
Sarai Palma participated in the 60-meter dash and earned a time of 9.22.
-Freshman Sheila Leon posted a time of 30.19 in the 200-meter dash.
-Senior
Emma Brosnihan recorded a top 20 finish with a time of 2:50.66 in the 800-meter dash. Brosnihan finished in 16
th place.
What's Next:
Dominican Track and Field will compete in the 2026 NACC Indoor Track & Field Championship this weekend. The event will take place in Ripon, Wis. on February 27
th and February 28
th.
