River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University Track & Field teams participated in the Green & White Invite at Wisconsin Lutheran College

Shining Stars:
-Graduate Student Melissa Gomez competed in the 100-meter dash and finished with a time of 14.52 seconds.
-Sophomore Jose Murrillo participated in the 100-meter dash and completed the race with a time of 11.96 seconds.
-Sophomore Fatima Duran ran in the 1500-meter dash and finished 13^th with a time of 5:55.40 seconds.
-Freshman Juan Tavares-Munoz competed in the 1500-meter dash and completed the race with a time of 4:51.87 seconds.
-Sophomore Mackenzie Cuddihy was back with the Track & Field team and ran in the 400-meter dash and finished with a time of 1:09.17 seconds.
-Freshman Mary Bitter ran in the 800-meter dash and completed the race with a time of 3:11.24 seconds.
-Junior Adrian Ocana competed in the 800-meter dash and finished with a time of 2:16.06 seconds.
-Junior Mia Taullahu participated in the 200-meter dash and completed the race with a time of 28.30 seconds.
-5^th Year Student Camron Scott ran in the 200-meter dash and had a time of 25.06 seconds.
-Senior Avery Brown finished participated in the discuss throw and finished in 8^th place with a throw of 31.83 meters.
-Freshman Jayla Harris competed in the shot-put and finished in 12^th place with a throw of 9.99 meters.
 
What's Next:
Dominican Track and Field will be back in action on April 25^th back at Elmhurst University for the Elmhurst Twilight.
