Elmhurst, Ill. – The Dominican University Track & Field teams participated in the Elmhurst Twilight at Elmhurst University.

Shining Stars:
-Sophomore Jose Angel Murillo competed in the 100-meter dash and finished with a personal record of 11.73 seconds.
-Junior
Mia Taullahu ran in the 100-meter dash and completed the race with a time of 13.67 seconds.
-Sophomore Mackenize Cuddihy participated in the 400-meter dash and finished with a personal record of 1:06.12 in the race.
-Senior Oscar Meza Quintero competed in the 800-meter dash and posted a personal record of 2:19.24 seconds in the race.
-Freshman
Tia Garr ran in the 800-meter dash and finished with a time of 2:54.81.
-Freshman
Juan Tavares-Munoz participated in the 1500-meter dash and completed the race with a time of 4:44.76 seconds.
-Sophomore
Fatima Duran competed in the 1500-meter dash and posted a time of 5:53.32 seconds.
-Freshman Aaron Guandarrama threw in the discus event and threw a distance of 28.03 meters, this being good for his personal best.
-Senior
Avery Brown participated in the discus event and threw a distance of 33.72 meters.
-Freshman
Jayla Harris competed in the shot put event and put up a personal record with a distance of 10.23 meters.
What's Next:
Dominican Track and Field will be back in action on May 2
nd and May 3
rd for the NACC Outdoor Championship in De Pere, Wis.
