Montgomery, Ill. – No. 2 seed Dominican University Softball looks to make a run in the NACC Tournament, hosted by Aurora University.
Tournament Information:
-Aurora University is the host school for the 2025 NACC Softball Tournament, with all games taking place at Bedrosian Stadium at Spartan Athletic Park in Montgomery, Illinois.
-The NACC Softball Tournament will be played over four days, from Thursday, May 8
th to Sunday, May 11
th.
-All games are scheduled a start time, but if the game preceding it takes additional time, the next game will begin 30 minutes after the field has been cleared.
-Dominican's first game of the tournament will be against one of Marian University, Lakeland University, or Benedictine University on Friday, May 9
th.
-The tournament format and seeding are as follows.

Game A - No. 5 MSOE def. No. 8 Aurora, 4-1
Game B - No. 6 Marian vs. No. 7 Lakeland, 1:30 p.m.
Game C - No. 5 MSOE vs. No. 4 Concordia Chicago, 4 p.m.

-Dominican finished the 2025 regular season with a 30-10 overall record, going 19-5 in the NACC. The Stars compiled an 11-3 record at home while finishing 13-3 on the road and 6-4 on neutral sites.
-The Stars are currently hitting .346 as a team with 245 runs scored. They are holding their opponents to a .249 batting average and have given up 120 total runs.

Emma Woodhouse has continued to be the Stars' workhorse for DU, with a 17-5 record on the season with 104 strikeouts and a 1.77 ERA in 134.1 innings pitched. Woodhouse is back in the lineup offensively and currently has a .283 batting average. The senior has 13 hits and 5 RBIs in her 46 at-bats.
-Freshman
Rhiannon Rubio is 9-2 in her freshman campaign with 63 strikeouts and a 3.68 ERA in 78.0 innings pitched.
-Sophomore
Liberty Rivard has a stellar 1.86 ERA in her 37.2 innings pitched.
-Senior
Liliana Santoyo is starting her senior year with a .405 batting average on 126 at-bats. Santoyo has 51 hits, with 2 triples and 24 RBIs.
-Freshman
Isabella Olmos has been shining with a .346 batting average as the DU cleanup hitter. Olmos currently has 45 hits, 7 doubles, 3 triples, 4 home runs, 36 runs scored, 23 RBIs, and 27 stolen bases.
-Junior
Ryley Davis continues to be effective at the plate with a .363 batting average. Ry. Davis has 41 hits and 24 RBIs.
-Freshman
Raegyn Davis has been stellar to start her collegiate career with a .368 batting average. Ra. Davis has 46 hits, 9 doubles, 5 triples, a home run, and 33 RBIs.
-Sophomore
Kailee Diaz Randall is starting her second year on the right foot, holding a .291 batting average. Diaz Randall currently has 23 hits, 5 doubles, 2 triples, a home run, and 9 RBIs.
-Senior
Hanna Voegtle is starting to swing a hot bat, holding a .346 batting average with 27 hits, a home run, and 16 RBIs.
-Junior
Paytin Salfi has found her swing for the Stars, now holding a .33 batting average with 33 hits, 17 RBIs, and 7 doubles.
Familiar Faces:
-Dominican returns Senior
Emma Woodhouse, who can play on both sides of the ball. Woodhouse carried a 14-2 win-loss record in the circle with 58 strikeouts in 110.2 innings pitched. Not only did Woodhouse record that stellar record, but she also carried a 1.96 ERA. The senior was also the team's second-best hitter with a .398 batting average. Woodhouse had 53 hits and led the team with 29 RBIs. Emma played and started in 45 games last season.
-Senior
Liliana Santoyo will look to be back in the shortstop position this season. Santoyo carried an amazing .965 fielding percentage in her 202 chances at shortstop. Not only was the senior a huge part of the defensive success, but she was also a .339 hitter who had the walk-off bunt in the NACC championship game. Liliana had 41 hits in her 121 at-bats. Santoyo played and started in 47 games last season.
-Junior
Ryley Davis is a three-year third baseman for the Stars and has been amazing in her short two years. Davis was a .275 hitter last season and looks to make a big jump on the offensive side of things and carry her 13 doubles from the 2024 season to the 2025 season. At the hot corner, Davis carried herself with a .905 fielding percentage in her 137 chances.
-Sophomore
Kailee Diaz Randall returns to the Dominican lineup with high hopes this season. Diaz Randall was a fantastic freshman catcher last season and has only allowed herself to improve even more. The Sophomore hit .282 last season with 8 doubles and 3 triples. On the defensive side, Diaz Randall threw out five runners stealing and had a .957 fielding percentage behind home plate.
-Senior
Hanna Voegtle will return to the Dominican lineup playing left field and pitching. Voegtle threw in 14.1 innings last season and carried a 1.47 ERA. When the senior was not in the circle, she was out in left field with a .972 fielding percentage. Not only did Hanna help on the defensive side of things, she was able to hit .362 last season in her 58 at-bats.
Scouting Report vs. Marian:
-Marian is 20-18 overall and finished 15-9 in NACC play.
-The Sabres were swept by MSOE in their final series of the regular season (L, 4-3; L, 10-0).
-MU is hitting .288 as a team and boasts a 3.20 team ERA.
Scouting Report vs. Lakeland:
-Lakeland is 19-21 overall and finished 13-11 in NACC play.
-The Muskies split their final series with Aurora (W, 7-1; L, 3-7).
-LU is hitting .322 as a team and holds a 3.41 team ERA.
Scouting Report vs. Benedictine:
-Benedictine is 27-13 overall and finished 16-8 in NACC play.
-The Eagles are amid a season-high 12-game winning streak, dating back to April 19
th.
-BenU is hitting .335 as a team while holding a team ERA of 3.49.
