Liliana Santoyo and
Emma Woodhouse of the Dominican University Softball Team both were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America, All-District teams in Division III.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 17, 2025.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.

Santoyo graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a 3.5 GPA during her four years at Dominican. She finished her softball career with a .366 batting average while starting in 155 games, tallying 127 hits.
Emma Woodhouse graduated as a double major with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Neurobiology and finished with a 4.0 GPA during her four years at Dominican. She concluded her softball career with an ERA of 2.23 while holding the career record in wins as a starter with 55 and reached the 300 strikeout mark with 337 strikeouts in her 446 innings pitched.
Both Liliana and Emma will now advance to the national ballot to be voted on CSC Members for Academic All-America with honorees being announced on June 17
th.
