Bloomington, Ill. – Dominican University Track & Field competed in the Coach Shoe Invite, hosted by Illinois Wesleyan.

Shining Stars:
-Freshman
Sarai Palma placed 15
th in both the Women's 60-meter and Women's 200-meter with times of 11.19 and 39.73, respectively.
-Senior
Emma Brosnihan finished in 9
th in the Women' 800-meter with a time of 2:56.13.
-Sophomore
Lizabeth Vallejo ran a time of 3:07.09 in the Women's 800-meter and came in 10
th.
-Sophomore
Mary Bitter placed 5
th in the Women's 1200-meter with a time of 5:17.67.
-The Women's 4x400-meter relay squad of Sophomore
Kayla Amormino, Freshman Adison Hasse, Freshman Charlie Harris, and Junior Kailee Diaz Randall recorded a time of 5:24.00 and finished in 5
th place.
-Junior
Jose Murillo ran a time of 7.76 in the Men's 60-meter and placed 27
th.
-Sophomore
John Delfin came in 23
rd in the Men's 200-meter with a time of 27.14.
-Freshman
Samuel Malke took home 3
rd in the Men's 800-meter with a time of 2:02.84.
-Sophomore
Aaron Guadarrama finished in 19
th in the Men's Shot Put with a throw of 9.02m.
