Bloomington, Ill. – Dominican University Track & Field got back to work at the Keck DIII Select, hosted by Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday.

Shining Stars:
-Freshman Sheila Leon posted DU's best time in the Women's 60-meter and the Women's 200-meter with times of 9.37 and 30.96 respectively.
-In the Women's 800-meter, Senior Emma Brosnihan paced Dominican with a time of 2:53.95, followed a time of 2:57.05 by Junior Fatima Duran.
-In Women's Shot Put, Senior Emily Reynoso Munoz recorded a throw of 6.05m.
-Junior Jose Murillo recorded the Stars' top time in the Men's 60-meter, posting a time of 7.72.
-In the Men's 800-meter, Junior Diego Valdivia notched a 2:22.39 split.
-Freshman Alberto Diaz posted a time of 4:53.30 in the Men's 1 mile.
-Sophomore Aaron Guadarrama competed in Men's Shot Put and posted a best throw of 9.05m.
 
What's Next:
Dominican Track and Field will travel to Allendale, Michigan on Friday, February 13^th, for the GVSU Big Meet, hosted by Grand Valley State.
