River Forest, Ill. – As 2025 comes to a close, Dominican University Athletics reflects on the achievements of its student athletes.
Men's Basketball 2024-2025
- Camron Scott became 2nd in Dominican history in career blocks with 126.
- Robbie Taylor entered a tie for 4th in DU history in career games played with 103.
- Men's Basketball picked up a win in overtime in its final game of the season, taking down Aurora on February 22nd, 2025, by a final score of 101-97.
Women's Basketball 2024-2025
- Women's Basketball dominated Mount Mary on the road on January 4th, 2025, by a final score of 71-38.
Men's Track and Field
- 2025 marked the inaugural season of the Dominican University Men's Track and Field program.
- The team's best finish of 5th place came at the Concordia Invite from April 11th to April 12th, 2025.
Women's Track and Field
- 2025 marked the inaugural season of the Dominican University Women's Track and Field program.
- The team's best finish of 3rd place came at the Concordia Invite from April 11th to April 12th, 2025.
Men's Volleyball
- Owen Morrow entered a tie for 3rd in assists in a match with 56 against California Lutheran on January 30th, 2025.
- Dominican hosted KP's DIII Game of the Week against Carthage on February 8th, 2025.
- Grant Henderson became tied for 5th in digs in a match with 20 against Augustana on February 20th, 2025.
- Ty Geschke recorded the 2nd highest kill tally in a match for DU with 26 against Wisconsin Lutheran on March 22nd, 2025.
- Tanner Dahman placed himself in a tie for 3rd in aces in a match with 6 against Concordia Chicago on April 2nd, 2025.
- Morrow graduated in 3rd for career assists in Dominican history with 2288.
- Geschke was named to the NACC First-Team All-Conference.
- Geschke and Tyler Vrska received NACC All-Tournament Team honors.
- Ryan Barnett took home the Senior Scholar Athlete Award.
Softball
- Head Coach Cristina Lukas recorded her 500th career win against Wisconsin Lutheran on April 19th, 2025.
- Emma Woodhouse notched 300 career strikeouts against Rockford on April 22nd, 2025.
- Woodhouse received Dominican University's highest academic award, the Dorthy Reiner Mulroy Excellence Award, on May 1st, 2025.
- Woodhouse took home NACC Pitcher of the Year on May 11th, 2025.
- Isabella Olmos won NACC Freshman of the Year honors on May 11th, 2025.
- Woodhouse, Olmos, and Liliana Santoyo were named to the NACC First-Team All-Conference on May 11th, 2025.
- Woodhouse capped off an excellent year by winning NACC Student-Athlete of the Year.
- Olmos set a new program record for stolen bases in a single season with 29.
- The Stars swept 9 conference opponents in 2025.
Baseball
- Zach Helein tied for most stolen bases in a game with 5 against Northland on March 6th, 2025.
- Grayson Downing tied the record for most runs scored in a single game with 5 against Rockford on April 29th, 2025.
- Ty Phillips entered a tie for 2nd in most hits in a single game with 5 against Rockford on April 29th, 2025.
- Zach Helein tied for most runs scored in a single season in DU history with 46.
- Matthew Earley entered a tie for 3rd for most triples in a season with 5 and home runs in a season with 6.
- Earley entered 2nd in RBIs in a single season with 42.
- Earley tied for 2nd in total bases in a season with 89.
- Helein tied for most walks in a single season with 33.
- G. Downing graduated as the program leader in career batting average (.373), runs scored (147), hits (212), and stolen bases (78).
- Stars Baseball swept Illinois Tech on Senior Day.
Golf 2024-2025
- Had a season best finish of 9th at the Melee in Morris on April 22nd, 2025.
- Tyler Van Es graduated in 6th for most rounds played in DU history with 26.
- Patrick Crampton graduated in 13th for most rounds played with 19.
Men's Cross Country
- Had a season best finish of 2nd place at the NP-CUC Invite on August 29th, 2025.
- Jaime Favela posted a program record time of 16:26.2 in the 5k event on August 29th, 2025.
- Alberto Diaz posted the 2nd fastest time in program history of 16:50 in the 5k event on August 29th, 2025.
- Favela posted the 2nd fastest 6k time in DU history with 20:36.86 on September 5th, 2025.
- Samuel Malke posted the 3rd fastest 6k time of 21:13.86 on September 5th, 2025.
- Diaz posted the 4th fastest time in program history in the 6k with 21:17.9 on September 5th, 2025.
Women's Cross Country
- Had a season best finish of 6th place at the NP-CUC invite on August 29th, 2025.
- Andrea Camacho posted a program record of 22:12.4 in the 5k on October 4th,2025.
- Fatima Duran posted the 3rd fastest 5k time on October 4th, 2025, with a time of 23:50.1.
- Mary Bitter achieved the 9th fastest time in the 5k with 25:57.8 on August 29th, 2025.
Golf 2025-2026
- Luka Stundins posted the 13th lowest round in Dominican history with a 73 (+2) on August 29th, 2025.
- Gabriel Alcala posted his best round of 79 (+7), which included 4 birdies, at the Midwest Region Classic on September 19th, 2025.
- Clay Austin shot a career-best 75 (+3) at the Benedictine University Eagle Invite on September 30th, 2025.
Men's Soccer
- Jonathan Almaguer and Enzo Cinque each bagged 2 goals in a 4-1 win over Rockford on September 24th, 2025.
- Cody Leyba made 6 saves and preserved a clean sheet in a big 1-0 win at St. Norbert on September 27th, 2025.
- Tristen Banquil scored a screaming free kick goal against Concordia Wisconsin, then later scored the game-winner on October 1st, 2025.
- Nicholas Porada scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Lakeland on October 18th, 2025.
- Vinni DaSilva scored two goals against River Forest rival Concordia Chicago on October 29th, 2025.
Women's Soccer
- Kamryn Klinger scored her first collegiate goal in her senior season on September 24th, 2025.
- Mia Dosen scored a hat trick at Benedictine in a 5-1 victory on October 22nd, 2025.
- Meghan Wilhite then followed with a hat trick of her on against Wisconsin Lutheran on October 25th, 2025.
- In a 3-1 win over Lakeland on October 18th, 2025, the Stars had 54 shots, 21 of them found the target.
- Women's Soccer went on two extended win streaks, spanning six games from September 20th to October 11th, 2025, and five games from October 18th to November 5th, 2025.
- Sarah Matuszek was named to NACC First-Team All-Conference.
Women's Volleyball
- Veronica Henkel notched 12 kills and 5 aces in sweep over Beloit on September 9th, 2025.
- Ellery Seha led DU with 16 kills, 2 aces, and 12 digs in a 3-1 win at Alverno on October 4th, 2025.
- Karolina Stonkus dished a season-high 42 assists and 5 aces at Alverno on October 4th, 2025.
Men's Basketball 2025-2026
- Braydon Murphy entered a tie for 9th for rebounds in a single game in DU history with 14 against Eureka on November 7th, 2025, and against Benedictine on December 6th, 2025.
- Murphy posted a tie for 4th most rebounds in a single game with 16 against Concordia Wisconsin on December 17th, 2025.
- Murphy entered a tie for 5th in blocks in a single game with 5 against Concordia Wisconsin on December 17th, 2025.
- Men's Basketball shot a season-high 47.4% from three in a 93-84 win over Benedictine on December 6th, 2025.
Women's Basketball 2025-2026
- Allanah Jackson posted a tie for most steals in a single game in program history with 7 against Blackburn on November 15th, 2025.
- Aya Deiri, Jaylani Hernandez, and Jackson all entered a tie for 7th for most steals in a single game with 6. Jackson achieved this feat on November 7th, 2025, against Beloit, while Deiri and Hernandez posted this mark on December 13th, 2025, against Maranatha Baptist.
- DUWBB has secured 6 wins through their first 11 games, this win amount surpases the 2024-2025 season total.
- Lia Saunders collected career high in points with 24 on December 6th, 2025 against Benedictine.
- Kennedy Yost earned two double-doubles in her freshman year. The first being on November 15th, 2025 against Blackburn, with Yost having 22 points and 10 rebounds. The second game being on December 14th, 2025 at Monmouth College, with Yost collecting 13 points and 11 rebounds.
- Teagan Dahl scoring in double figures in four straight games and seven of the eleven games.
