Milwaukee, Wis.—The Dominican University Women's Basketball program rounded out the top ten of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Preseason Poll that was released Wednesday morning.
 
The Stars finished with 111 points in the poll. They finished behind rival Concordia Chicago as they earned 127 points. Wisconsin Lutheran finished a top of the poll with 24 first-place votes and 336 points overall. DUWBB finished ahead of Illinois Tech, Marian, and Rockford University. The rankings of the league's head coaches and head athletics communications professionals vote on the preseason polls.

 During the 2025-2026 season, the Dominican Women's Basketball finished with a record of 10-15 overall and a 4-13 conference record. The Stars were 6-6 inside the Igini Sports Forum and started the season off with a 3-2 record in their first 5 games. The Stars' big win last season was taking down Edgewood on their home court on January 31^st, to the score of 55-52.
 
The Dominican University Women's Basketball program will begin their 2026-2027 campaign this Saturday, inside the Igini Sports Forum at 1:00 pm. They will welcome in the Scots of Monmouth College in a navy out for their home opener.
