8/13/2026 12:12:00 PM

River Forest, Ill.—The Dominican University men's soccer team prepares for preseason by announcing their 2026 coaching staff.

The 2026 coaching staff for the men's soccer team is led by Erick Baumann, who is entering his 32nd season and has a 470-127-54 record in his 31 years of coaching and is one of the most winning coaches in NCAA men's soccer history.

Jordan Finneran joins the men's soccer staff and has an extensive background as a player and a coach. Finneran is a native of England and developed his skills through Cambridge United Academy before moving into senior football with Newmarket Town and Cambridge University.

Once Finneran moved to the United States, he played his college soccer at the College of St. Scholastica and Spalding University while he also represented Duluth FC U23 and Superior City FC.
Jordan's coaching career has had a couple of stops since graduation. He has coached at Hanover College, Spalding University, and most recently at Georgetown College. During his time at Spalding, he helped lead the team to their first-ever 2024 NCAA Division III National Tournament.

Recent Alumni of the Dominican University men's soccer program, Zach Gamster, is joining the staff as an assistant coach. Gamster graduated from Dominican in 2024, where he had an incredible 4-year career at DU, including winning 2020 NACC Freshman of the Year and playing in two NCAA National Tournaments.

Since graduating from Dominican, Zach went to the University of Sunderland and played for South Shields International Academy while he was earning his MBA.

Brandon Marinkovich joins the staff as the first men's soccer graduate assistant. Brandon is a Michigan native and played three years of varsity soccer at South Lyon High School while receiving All-Conference and All-District honors.

Once in college, Marinkovich attended and played at Spring Arbor University and transferred to Michigan State University, where he graduated from in May of 2026. During his time at MSU he was a student manager and assisted with daily training operations.

Jonathan Arzeta, Quintin Eisner, and Andruw Martinez all return to the men's soccer staff for the 2026 season, where the Stars are looking to make some noise in the NACC.

Head Coach Erick Baumann commented on the new hires and the returning coaches by saying, "I'm excited to have Jordan, Brandon, and Zach join our coaching staff. They will each play a big role in our focus to continue to build and grow our program and its offerings." He then continued by saying, "We are very fortunate to have three returning coaches and alum like Arzeta, Eisner, and Martinez for 2026. Along with what they contribute as coaches, they also bring championship experience as former players."
