Box Score The Dominican University women's basketball team shot just 11-for-42 from the field as the Stars fell to the Augustana College Vikings, 73-42, in non-conference action in Rock Island, Ill., on Tuesday night.

Katie Budz (Orland Park, Ill.) and Allie Tapanes (Winfield, Ill.) accounted for half of the Stars' offense, combining for 26 of the team's 42 points on 7-for-19 shooting while the rest of the team was just 4-for-23 from the field.

With the Stars leading 5-4 after a pair of free throws from Budz, Augustana went on a 22-5 run over the next ten minutes to open a 16 point lead and never looked back.

Budz scored a game-high 18 points for the Stars in the losing effort.

The Stars will enjoy an 11-day break between games, returning to action on December 29 in Salem, Ma. Dominican will take on Salem State University on day one of the Salem State Holiday Tournament and then take on Southern Maine on December 30 before returning home to River Forest.
