Oliver's Career Night Paces Stars Past Rockford

Box Score The Dominican University women's basketball team kept pace in the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) South Division on Tuesday night, topping the Rockford College Regents behind a career-high 28 points from sophomore Ashley Oliver (Bolingbrook, Ill.). 

Oliver was 10-for-18 from the field, going 6-for-11 from three-point range, in leading Dominican to its 15th win of the season and fourth in a row.  Katie Budz (Orland Park, Ill.) added 12 points in the winning effort.

Britney Curry paced the Regents with 27 points.

Dominican, now 15-7 overall and 11-4 in the NAC, kept pace with the MSOE Raiders for first place in the NAC South.  The Stars will return to action on Saturday, hosting the Aurora University Spartans for a 2:00 p.m. tipoff in the Igini Sports Forum.
