Stars Fall At Rockford

Box Score The Dominican University women's basketball team fell on the road in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) action on Tuesday night, falling to the Rockford University Regents, 91-55.

The Stars hung with the Regents through the first half, shooting 13-for-31 from the field to go into the break trailing just 42-32. However, the Stars went just 8-for-29 from the field in the second half while the Regents shot at a 19-for-34 clip to outscore the Stars 49-23 after the break.

Three players reached double-figures scoring for the Stars in the losing effort including Kaylee Paciora (Scottsdale, Ariz.) who logged her second double-double of the season with a 14-point, ten-rebound effort.

The loss drops the Stars to 0-17 overall and 0-12 in the NACC. Dominican will return to the court on Saturday, traveling to Madison, Wis., to take on the Edgewood College Eagles. Tipoff is slated for 4:15 p.m.
