Box Score The Dominican University women's basketball team fell on the road in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) action on Tuesday night, falling to the Rockford University Regents, 91-55.
The Stars hung with the Regents through the first half, shooting 13-for-31 from the field to go into the break trailing just 42-32. However, the Stars went just 8-for-29 from the field in the second half while the Regents shot at a 19-for-34 clip to outscore the Stars 49-23 after the break.
Three players reached double-figures scoring for the Stars in the losing effort including
Kaylee Paciora (Scottsdale, Ariz.) who logged her second double-double of the season with a 14-point, ten-rebound effort.
The loss drops the Stars to 0-17 overall and 0-12 in the NACC. Dominican will return to the court on Saturday, traveling to Madison, Wis., to take on the Edgewood College Eagles. Tipoff is slated for 4:15 p.m.
