River Forest, Ill. - The Department of Athletics announced the promotion of David Levy to full time as he will take the position of Coordinator Recreational Activities & Camps/Assistant Women's Basketball Coach. Levy spent the 2021-2022 season with the women's basketball program as a part time assistant under head coach Antonio Rivas.

"I am very excited to get to continue working with the collection of players we have here at Dominican", Levy commented. " Coach Rivas has a lot of great things brewing in his program and I am more than ready to help him re-establish it as one of the best in the NACC."

Prior to joining the Stars' staff, Levy made his way to River Forest from Davis and Elkins College, an NCAA Division II institution in Elkins, West Virginia,  where he served as an assistant coach.

Prior to his time at D&E, Levy served as a graduate assistant for the Northwestern women's basketball program for the 2019-20 season, helping the Wildcats to a 26-4 record while working with head coach Joe McKeown. Northwestern clinched a share of their first Big Ten Title in 30 years following a Senior Day win against Illinois during one of the top seasons in program history.

While at Northwestern, Levy cut scouting, game, and practice film in addition to assisting with on-court practice activities and working with the Director of Basketball Operations. Levy spent the 2017-18 season as an advanced statistician and consultant at Knox College in Illinois.

Levy worked as a gameday operations intern with the Chicago Sky of the WNBA in 2019, coordinating on all logistical matters and in-game and timeout content.

Levy graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics, adding minors in business and statistics, from Knox College in 2018. He completed his master's degree in sports administration with a specialization in sport analytics from Northwestern in 2020.
