Dominican University Athletics

Mahoney put together one of the most dominant single seasons in Dominican University athletics history, posting a 21-8 mark as a pitcher on the softball diamond with a 1.91 earned run average while collecting 251 strikeouts as a senior in 2013. 

To this day, the right-hander holds the program's single-season records for wins (21), appearances (34), games started (32), shutouts (9), innings pitched (179.2) and strikeouts (251). For her efforts that season, Mahoney was recognized as the NACC Pitcher of the Year and named to the NFCA All-Region First Team. 

Over the course of four seasons, Mahoney amassed 533 career strikeouts, 60 more than any other pitcher in program history.
