The Orland Park native was a four-time Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) first team selection while earning Player of the Year honors in 2011. That junior campaign was an historic one as Budz hit an astonishing .485 with 11 home runs and 53 RBIs on her way to being named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III Great Lakes Region first team. The accolades continued for Budz, due in part to her finishing the season ranked 11th in all of Division III in slugging percentage (.902), 16th in batting average (.485) and 25th in on-base percentage (.547) as she was recognized as an NFCA Division III Third Team All-American.

On the hardwood, Budz was an 1,000-point scorer (1,033) to go along with 871 rebounds which ranks third and second in program history, respectively, since the start of the NCAA Era at Dominican (2002).

A three-time NACC selection at guard, Budz paces the program in assists (458) while finishing her career third in field goals made (394) and blocked shots (149) to go along with 161 steals (fourth).

She started 104-of-105 games during her career, as she leads the program in minutes played (3566) and sits fourth in minutes per game (34.3).
