Vaccaro was the NACC Women's Cross Country individual champion in 2008, the only individual cross country champion in school history. That year, Vaccaro posted the fastest 6K time in program history, placing 17^th individually at the race to become the first and only runner in program history to earn USTCCCA All-Region honors. 

Following her graduation in 2010, Vaccaro returned to the program as an assistant coach before taking over the reigns as the program's head coach in 2015.
