Marty Blazek, a four-year letterwinner with the men’s basketball program, made history on February 13, 1987, as he became the Illinois College Basketball all-time leading scorer in a 102-88 win for the Rebels over Northeastern Illinois. Blazek scored 2,955 throughout his 125-game collegiate career and currently ranks as the program’s all-time leading scorer and all-time leading rebounder.

For his career, Blazek averaged 23.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game while shooting 55.7% from the field.
