Hall of Fame
2017 Men's Volleyball Team began its inaugural Division III season in 2014 with the goal of becoming a National powerhouse and winning the conference by their senior season and getting into the NCAA Tournament. It took only four years for the program to accomplish that goal. The 2017 squad captured the regular season MCVL Conference Championship, the MCVL Tournament Championship and recorded the first NCAA Tournament appearance in DIII program history with an Elite Eight finish. The Stars would finish with an overall record of 26-3, win MCVL and National Coach of the Year Award (Dan Ames), and land two on the AVCA All American First Team (Luke Spicer and Alex Coyne). The team was also awarded with the AVCA Team Academic Award, posting a cumulative Team GPA for the year of 3.33. The 2017 team was instrumental to the future successes the program would see with laying a strong foundation of high academic standards and championships.
